FIRE DETECTED ON AUGUST 9, 2021
On August 9, 2021, a fire was discovered in the 17th quarter of the Malo-Almaty forestry of the Medeu branch. Paratroopers-firemen of the Almaty aviation department and employees of the ground forest guard with equipment were sent to the place of fire to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread. In addition, a Mi-171 helicopter of Kazaviaspas JSC arrived at the site of the fire, which, with the help of a spillway device, discharged water onto the fires. In total, 4 targeted water discharges were carried out with a total tonnage of more than 10 thousand liters of water. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the fire was localized and extinguished.
