23 FEBRUARY 2024 IN ALMATY PASSED TESTS OF EMPLOYEES OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND FOREST INSTITUTIONS

On February 23, 2024, in Almaty, upon completion of the educational program of initial training of employees of environmental and forest institutions, tests were passed in the disciplines passed. Recall that the educational program of initial training is aimed at increasing the level of knowledge and professional competence in the field of extinguishing forest fires.

The training program provided for the following types of classes: lectures, independent study of educational literature and practical classes.

The certificates obtained after the tests will make it possible to carry out activities to extinguish forest fires.

On February 26, 2024, training courses for employees of environmental and forest institutions of the fifth stream - persons associated with the organization and management of fire extinguishing - will start at the training centers of the M.Gabdullin Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On February 22, 2024, in the East Kazakhstan Regional Territorial Inspection of Forestry and Wildlife of the Committee for Forestry and Wildlife of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a meeting was held by videoconference on the topic: "Results of the fire hazardous season of 2023 and tasks for the fire hazardous season of 2024."
As a result of the meeting, forest owners were advised to complete preparations for the fire hazardous season of 2024 within the specified time frame, including training and briefing of forest fire services, formation of fire brigades, repair of fire fighting equipment, equipment and observation facilities, creation of a reserve reserve of fuel and lubricants, provision of stable telephone and radio communication, ensure and burn felling residues, etc. The meeting especially emphasized the need to timely provide information on all the facts of fires in the subordinate territory to the inspection, take measures to improve fire equipment and equipment of forestry institutions, and develop and submit agreed interaction plans to combat forest fires.

On February 22, 2024, in the Zhetysu Regional Territorial Inspection of Forestry and Wildlife of the Committee of Forestry and Wildlife of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a meeting was held by videoconference on the topic "Results of the fire hazardous season of 2023 and tasks for the fire hazardous season of 2024", with the participation of representatives of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management, communal state forestry institutions, national natural parks and reserves of Zhetysu region, etc.

During the meeting, issues were discussed on preparations for the fire hazardous season of 2024 and measures taken by forest owners in order to prevent and combat forest fires during the fire hazardous season.

As a result of the meeting, in preparation for the fire hazardous season, it was decided to carry out:
1. Training and briefing of forest fire services on the issues of fire-fighting arrangement of the territory and extinguishing of forest fires;
2. Formation of fire brigades;
3. Repair of fire fighting equipment, equipment and observation facilities;
4. Preventive fire prevention measures in forests located around settlements;
5. Training of the inspection staff, state security workers on the issues of ensuring the protection of forests from illegal logging, as well as the procedure for drawing up and maintaining
documentation on forest violations;
6. Incineration of existing felling residues prior to the start of the fire season;
7. Conduct controlled annealing of grassy vegetation on the territory of the forest fund and adjacent territories in order to reduce fire hazard, etc.

On February 22, 2024, employees of environmental and forest institutions of Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan and Mangistau regions underwent training courses in Aktobe on the basis of the training center of the M. Gulullin Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
