On March 16, 2021, a meeting was held in the Almaty Regional Territorial Inspectorate of Forestry and Wildlife via video conferencing on the results of the analysis of corruption risks.
On November 18, 2015, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption" was adopted, which reflects new anti-corruption measures, including an analysis of corruption risks. This mechanism is widely used today and has proven in practice its high efficiency. As the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev noted: "No one can be above the law. The first leaders, both at the center and at the local level, will be responsible for their subordinates caught in corruption. At the same time, it is necessary to take measures not after the fact, but to develop complex and systemic preventive mechanisms ”. In this regard, the analysis of corruption risks is one of the most important tools for combating corruption. Analysis of corruption risks is the identification of the reasons and conditions conducive to corruption, which, in turn, is divided into external and internal. The only difference is that the first is carried out by an authorized body in the field of combating corruption, and the second is carried out independently by state bodies and subjects of the quasi-public sector in their activities.
It should be noted that corruption risks are present in the activities of almost every state body, organization, and such an effective mechanism as external and internal analysis allows timely prevention of the most unpleasant consequences. Summing up, it must be said that these anti-corruption measures are effective and allow minimizing corruption risks both in regulatory legal acts and in the organizational and management activities of the object of analysis.
