Smakotin among the residents of the Shaldai village, a preventive lecture was held on the topic: "Compliance with fire safety rules in the forest." Residents of the village were familiarized with the precautions when handling fire in the forest, actions when a forest fire is detected, the actions of a person lost in the forest, and the observance of sanitary standards when visiting forests.

The forces and means of the Pavlodar aviation department and the Shaldai branch were thrown into the fight against the fire element. Thanks to the well-coordinated actions of the employees of the Kazavialesoohrana State Enterprise and the ground firefighting services, the fire was localized without damage to the State Forest Fund. The fire was localized over an area of 150 hectares. In total, more than 60 people were involved in the localization of the fire, including 2 paratroopers-firefighters of the Pavlodar aviation department, 20 pieces of equipment, a helicopter.

The fire was localized over an area of 6 hectares. In total, more than 30 people were involved in the localization of the fire, including 4 paratroopers-firemen of the Borovsk aviation department, 8 pieces of equipment, a helicopter.

Protecting the forest from fires

Since 2005, the Kostanay aviation department of the Kazavialesoohrana RGKP has been based in the Auliekol region, the main goal of which is the timely detection and suppression of forest fires on the territory of forestry institutions of the Kostanai region and the Naurzum state reserve. Forest fire is the main enemy of our forests, from year to year it takes away tens and hundreds of hectares of green space. The main causes of fires are thunderstorms and the human factor.
