In the spring-summer period, which every person at any age is waiting with great joy and hope for the upcoming vacation, plans to spend outdoor recreation on weekends and holidays, especially after a long quarantine, people are tired of sitting at home and everyone needs to go out into nature. Unfortunately, some people forget that after the snow melts and the melt water leaves, the fire hazard situation sharply increases. Careless, careless handling of fire when burning dry grass, garbage, often turns into a disaster - this is almost 90% of all fires that occur annually for this reason.
In order to timely detect and eliminate forest fires in small areas, the forces of the Kazavialesoohrana State Enterprise are conducting air patrols in the Almaty region.
Despite the fact that a lot is being done for timely detection and extinguishing, the fire is still not an element, but a consequence of the carelessness of people. In a fire hazardous period, refrain from visiting the forest! If you do find yourself in the forest, follow these rules ...
During a fire hazard period in the forest, it is prohibited:
make fires, use barbecues, other cooking devices;
smoking, throwing burning matches, cigarette butts;
shoot a gun, use pyrotechnic items;
leave cleaning material oiled or saturated with gasoline, kerosene and other combustible substances in the forest;
refuel the tanks of working internal combustion engines, take out equipment with a faulty engine power system for work, and also smoke or use open fire near vehicles fueled with fuel;
leave bottles, glass fragments, and other garbage in a forest glade lit by the sun;
burn out grass and stubble in the fields.
In a fire hazardous period, it is important to observe the following fire safety rules:
- making fires, burning waste and containers is not allowed closer than 50 m to buildings and structures;
- it is forbidden to make fires in young coniferous stands, near trees, on felling areas, on peat bogs and areas with dry grass, moss, in forest plantations;
- bonfires are made at a distance of at least 10 m from trees on sites cleared of needles, branches, dry grass;
- gasoline and other combustible mixtures must not be used to light fires;
- when leaving the resting place, it is imperative to put out the fire. If there is no water nearby, you must carefully cover it with earth. You should not leave the fire until the coals in it are extinguished.
We remind you that for violation of fire safety requirements, including the procedure for using open fire, making fires and burning dry grassy vegetation, both administrative and criminal liability are provided.
If a forest-steppe fire is detected, please report it to the Republican Dispatch Service by phone 8727 271 81 46, or by emergency call at 101.
