A fire was discovered on September 1, 2020

On September 1, 2020, a fire was discovered on the territory of state reserve lands in the buffer zone of the 92nd quarter of Kokterek KSU. Two paratroopers-firemen of the Kazavialesoohrana RGKP with fire extinguishing means landed at the place of fire. Thanks to the well-coordinated actions of the Zhambyl aviation department employees, the fire was promptly extinguished on an area of 0.02 hectares.

Protect the forest!

The forest is a great gift of nature. Its significance in human life is enormous. The forest is the "lungs of the planet", the forest is a pharmacy and a health store. Today there is an acute question: how to preserve this priceless gift of nature for our descendants?

The greatest damage to the forest is caused by fires, which occur mainly due to human fault. Fire destroys all living things in its path: young trees and shrubs, perennial trees, birds, animals, insects die. The most fire hazardous period is summer and early autumn, when the soil is covered with dry grass and foliage, in hot weather and a long absence of precipitation.

The reason may be:

- fire in the forest;

- an unextinguished cigarette or a match;

- car spark;

- logging, haymaking and other work.

Forest fire protection includes a set of organizational, technical, legal and other measures aimed at preventing, timely detection and liquidation of forest fires. Measures to protect forests from fires are carried out taking into account biological, silvicultural, ecological, regional and other features.

The main task of ensuring the protection of forests from fires is the implementation of fire-prevention measures.

Fire prevention:

1. Prevention of forest fires (fire-prevention propaganda, explanatory and educational work)

2. Restriction of the spread of forest fires (creation of a system of fire barriers; timely cleaning of forest areas from debris; carrying out sanitary felling; creation of a network of forest roads, fire-prevention reservoirs).

3. Measures to detect fires and timely notify the relevant services.

All forests in Kazakhstan, in accordance with the Forest Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other regulations, are subject to fire protection. The forestry system has a special service (ground and aviation) that performs and controls work to prevent the occurrence and spread of forest fires, to detect and extinguish them. In our city there is the Taldykorgan aviation department of the Kazavialesoohrana State Enterprise with its long history of existence. On account of the paratroopers-firefighters hundreds of extinguished fires, saved human lives. They successfully fight fire, conduct explanatory work among the population. In tandem with foresters, they carry out preventive work to prevent forest fires. In the course of work, the perpetrators of violations of fire safety rules are identified, and, depending on the nature of the violations and their consequences, disciplinary, administrative or criminal liability is applied to them. However, these tasks can be successfully solved only with the participation of the population, which must take care of preventing forest fires and be ready to extinguish them. On August 31, 2020, forest aviation works were carried out

On August 31, 2020, specialists of the Kokshetau aviation department of the Kazavialesokhrana RGKP, together with representatives of the KOKSHETAU RSU SNPP, performed joint overflights of the protected area in order to control compliance with environmental management rules and identify violations of environmental legislation. During the air patrol, no violations of environmental legislation were identified.

On August 31, 2020, a fire was discovered on the territory of state reserve lands in the buffer zone 108 of the Karkaralinsky forestry, Karkaralinsky SNPP. Timely detection and adoption of measures to promptly extinguish a fire that poses a threat to the state forest fund by paratroopers-firefighters of the Karkaralinsk aviation department of the Kazavialesoohrana State Enterprise and the ground forest guard ensured timely elimination of the fire without damaging the state forest fund.

On August 29, 2020, during an air patrol of the territory protected by the Bukebaevsky aviation department, a fire was discovered on the territory of the 131st quarter of the Ramadan forestry, the Bukebaevsky branch. The forces and means of the Bukebaev aviation department and the Bukebaev branch were thrown into the fight against the fire element. The fire was extinguished on an area of 0.02 hectares. In total, 13 people were involved in the localization and elimination of the fire, including 2 paratroopers-firefighters of the Bukebaevsky aviation department, 6 pieces of equipment, and a helicopter.

Entrepreneurs, sellers and buyers of the trading house were familiarized with the precautions when handling fire in the forest, actions to be taken when a forest fire is detected, and the rules for observing sanitary standards when visiting forest areas. Fire propaganda leaflets were also distributed.

On August 28, 2020, during an air patrol of the territory protected by the Pavlodar aviation department, a fire was discovered on the territory of the 52nd quarter of the Kokterek forestry, the Beskaragai branch. The forces and means of the Pavlodar aviation department and the Beskaragai branch were thrown into the fight against the fire element. The fire was extinguished on an area of 0.01 hectares. In total, 11 people were involved in the localization and elimination of the fire, including 3 paratroopers-firefighters of the Pavlodar aviation department, 3 units of equipment, a helicopter.
