February 17, 2023 at KSU "Zyryanovskoe forestry" The UPR and RP of the East Kazakhstan Region, chaired by the head of Utepov R.A., held a meeting on the preparation for the fire season of 2023 on the territory of the Zyryanovsky KSU. During the meeting, reports on the work done during the fire season of 2022, the number and causes of forest fires were heard.

During the meeting, it was decided to:

1. Strengthening control over compliance with fire safety rules and regulations in forests;

2. Preparation and provision to the authorized bodies of information on the availability of fire extinguishing equipment in accordance with the approved standards;

3. Repair of fire-fighting equipment, equipment and observation facilities before the start of the fire season.

The principle of operation is as follows, filling the APU with water is carried out by taking water in the helicopter hovering mode from the reservoir. There is a feature in the design that allows you to quickly "flood" the APU, so a few seconds are enough for water intake. The APU is attached to the helicopter on an external suspension using a cable. The drain is performed by an observer pilot using the control panel.

The practice of using these devices revealed the following problem - even 15 tons of water dumped on a forest fire are not effective enough. Gorenje on the surface stops, but the high temperature quickly dries it. A light breeze is enough, and the tree lights up again. Therefore, in addition to the APU, another system is used – SDP (Foaming Agent Addition System).

SDP is a special substance that forms foam. Upon contact with the burning surface, a "film" is formed that prevents the access of atmospheric oxygen.

The technology of extinguishing forest fires with the help of the APU is as follows... The helicopter with the APU is on duty at the airfield and is called to extinguish the fire by a patrol aircraft. The observer pilot, having received the message, analyzes it and selects a suitable reservoir closest to the fire.

To choose the tactical methods of extinguishing a fire, the observer pilot and the helicopter commander calculate the fuel refueling, the permissible load for the delivery of the amphibious fire group and cargo, and the helicopter takes off to the fire. After the landing of the paratroopers-firefighters from the air, they select a landing site for the helicopter with the engine turned off and the APU installation from the transport to the working position, after which the helicopter goes to the reservoir for water intake.

The aimed water drain is performed by an observer pilot, who sets the flight mode for the crew, indicates the edge for extinguishing. At a helicopter speed of 50-70 km / h, water is drained from a height of 15 m above the forest canopy, resulting in a wetted strip with a length of 75 to 230 m, a width of 10 to 20 meters, depending on the models of the APU. Transportation of the APU takes place on the suspension system of Mi-8 MTV helicopters.

On February 3, 2023, a meeting was held in the East Kazakhstan Regional Territorial Inspectorate of Forestry and Wildlife, the Forestry and Wildlife Committee on the topic: "The results of the fire season of 2022 and the tasks for the fire season of 2023", with the participation of representatives of municipal State forestry institutions of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the East Kazakhstan Region, GPP "Zapadno-Altaisky", GNPP "Katon-Karagai", GPP "Markakolsky", as well as representatives of the Emergency Department of the East Kazakhstan Region. The State National Nature Park "Burabai" was organized in August 2002. On the territory of the park there are 14 lakes with a mirror area of more than 1 sq. km each and a large number of small lakes. Winter covers the forest with a snow-white canvas, each twig is clearly outlined against a white background, fluffy pines and sprawling firs stand in snowdrifts, dressed in sparkling frost, breathe frosty snow and it seems that everything is frozen in an enchanted dream. But life goes on. Tourists will enjoy exciting skiing, snowmobiling and sledding, ice fishing and magnificent winter landscapes. In spring, the forests are elegant and delicate, filled with the spicy fragrance of herbs and flowers, young shoots are born on the dark-coniferous paws of fir trees, fragile cones appear and the breeze carries fragrant resinous waves.

The height of Borovoye above sea level is 250 m . The dome of Mount Kokshe (Sinyukha) rose closest to the blue sky, its height is 997 m above sea level.
