ON THE GUARD OF THE FOREST - FIRE FLATTENER

The fire cracker is designed both for independent use and for use in combination with knapsack forest fire extinguishers. Extinguishing the edge of the fire is carried out by stopping the access of oxygen to the source of combustion and the use of carbon dioxide and dust to extinguish hidden sources. This tool is designed to extinguish small fires, such as when the edge of the grass is on fire. As a rule, it is used to extinguish the edge of a ground fire. Much more effective than the use of improvised means, such as tree branches.

Benefits of using

To extinguish the edge of forest fires, fires of low intensity, fires in grass forest types and grass fires in open areas, improvised means prepared in the immediate vicinity of the fire are often used. It can be a bunch of freshly broken hardwood branches or a small hardwood tree.

Extinguishing the edge of a fire with branches is hard physical work, the leaves quickly fly around and the broom must be periodically updated, while the extinguishing efficiency with improvised means is disproportionately lower compared to a specialized tool for sweeping the flame - a fire cracker. Fire crackers, depending on the material used in the manufacture, are of two types: soft and hard.
A soft fire cracker is made of non-combustible rubberized material, and a hard one is made of narrow metal plates arranged in a fan.

Extinguishing technology

A forest firefighter knocks down a flame with a fire cracker in such a way that first the heel of the cracker touches the base of the flame of the earth, and the canvas of the cracker knocks down the flame and discards the combustion products to the ashes. Then the fireman presses it to the ground and stretches it a little along the edge of the fire.
A fire cracker is an inexpensive, simple, lightweight and effective forest fire tool for extinguishing fugitive ground fires, which does not require such scarce water when extinguishing any fire, which favorably distinguishes it in all the variety of forest fire equipment.
The use of fire crackers at times increases the productivity of extinguishing a grass fire.

Design

The cracker consists of a nozzle and a handle. The nozzle is a rubber rectangular plate, the upper part of which is securely fixed between two pads with four screws and nuts. The lower part of the plate oscillates freely in the vertical plane. To one of the overlays, a shell for the handle is welded. Tuleika is made in the form of a sleeve with a rod. The tip of the nozzle fits snugly without play on the handle and is connected to it with a self-tapping screw.

On October 18, 2022, within the framework of the program to inform the population, the paratrooper-firefighter of the Taldykorgan aviation department Tashtakhmetov A.K. a preventive lecture was held among the employees of the IE "Damir" on the topic - "What causes the forests to burn." Employees of the organization were familiarized with the precautions for handling fire in the forest, actions in case of a forest fire, actions of a person lost in the forest, and compliance with sanitary standards when visiting forests.

A FIRE WAS DETECTED ON OCTOBER 17, 2022

On October 17, 2022, a fire was discovered on the territory of the 8th quarter of the Aksai forestry of the Aksai branch. Paratroopers-firefighters of the Almaty aviation department, employees of the ground forest guard and the Department of Emergency Situations with equipment were landed at the fire site to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the fire was localized and eliminated.

A FIRE WAS DETECTED ON OCTOBER 16, 2022

On October 16, 2022, a fire was discovered on the territory of the 160 quarter of the Pervomaisky forestry of the Shaldai branch. Paratroopers-firefighters of the Pavlodar aviation department and employees of the ground forest guard with equipment were sent to the place of ignition to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the fire was localized and eliminated.

ON OCTOBER 16, 2022, EMPLOYEES OF THE BORODULIKHA AVIATION DEPARTMENT DETECTED A FIRE

On October 16, 2022, during an aviation patrol, employees of the Borodulikha aviation department discovered a fire in the 108th quarter of the Central Forestry of the Novoshulbinsk Branch. Paratroopers-firefighters of the Borodulikha aviation department took part in the localization of the fire together with the ground forest guard. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the fire was localized and eliminated.

ON OCTOBER 14, 2022, THE EMPLOYEES OF PAVLODAR AVIATION DEPARTMENT HELD PREVENTIVE CONVERSATIONS

On October 14, 2022, paratroopers-firefighters of the Pavlodar aviation department Evdokimov D.D. and Smakotin O.O. preventive conversations were held among the residents of the village of Shaldai on the topic "Compliance with fire safety rules in the forest." The listeners were familiarized with the precautions for dealing with fire in the forest, actions in case of detection of a forest fire, the rules for observing sanitary standards when visiting forests. Leaflets on fire prevention propaganda were also distributed.
