Do not try to put out the fire on your own, first of all you need to report a fire by calling 112 (state fire service phone) or report to the branch of the State Enterprise "Kazavialesoohrana" in the city of Ridder t.8 (723) 363-02-99
A thunderstorm is one of the most spectacular and destructive atmospheric phenomena, causing damage to forestry every year.
Of particular danger are dry thunderstorms that occur at high air temperatures (about 40 ° C), low humidity and strong winds. This natural phenomenon is accompanied by a powerful electric discharge, which, at the first hit in a tree, easily ignites it. If you do not intervene in time and do not put out the fire, in the absence of moisture, the fire will easily spread to large areas, so the main task of the forest guard is to timely detect and eliminate the fire at an early stage.
An important place in the timely detection of forest fires is occupied by forest aviation. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of the team of the State Enterprise "Kazavialesokhrana", forest aviation provides invaluable assistance to ground services in coordinating actions and extinguishing fires, both inside and in the border areas of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
What should be reported when calling?
- What exactly do you see (list what is burning: trees, grass, forest floor,). If you observe a fire, tell us what its approximate height is (Below human height or above human height);
- Describe your location. Name the nearest settlement, as well as other landmarks, this will help the forest fire services quickly find a fire. The description may include gas stations closest to the entrance to the forest, rivers, bridges, cemeteries, shops, clearings (wide roads cut through the forest), dirt and asphalt roads. The inscriptions on the block pillars, messages that you see a clearing (a narrow strip cut in the forest), a clearing (a deepened strip in the ground around a forest area or some settlements), memorial steles, information boards, etc.) will also help. If you are driving or using public transport, tell us in which direction and where you are going.
Be aware that not only fires can be reported, but also illegal logging, garbage dumps, insect damage to the forest, and any illegal activities taking place in the forest.
Remember that a timely call will help us stop a natural fire at an early stage, which means saving the forest and its inhabitants, and maybe even human lives.
We express our gratitude to everyone who promptly responds to each fire and prevents the occurrence of large forest fires during this difficult period due to weather conditions.
