The personnel of the Almaty and Taldykorgan aviation departments underwent air training with the aim of thorough and comprehensive training, working out all the elements of the descent, studying various techniques and training in their implementation. Experienced mentors - heads of aviation departments and pilot-observers - worked out the practical skills of the "forest special forces".

It should be noted that it is not always possible to get to the area of ​​an active forest fire by ground transport, and when delivering forces and means by aviation, it is not always possible to select a site for a safe landing. In such cases, a decision is made to land troops in the fire area using a helicopter. The pilot-observer from the air selects a site suitable for the descent of paratroopers-firefighters, not less than 5x5 meters in size between the crowns of trees.

It should be noted that such training descents are held annually - at the beginning and in the middle of the fire season. It is extremely important to remember the technique of descending from a helicopter after the winter break and to consolidate the acquired skills, because this is one of the foundations for the safety of forest aviation work. The helicopter hovers over this “well” at a height of at least 10 meters above the treetops (while the height to the ground should not exceed 45 meters). The pilot-observer opens the door and drops a particularly strong (900 kg to break) 50-meter cord, along which firefighters descend directly from the helicopter to the ground with the help of a descender roller device.
During the training, the interaction of the pilot-observer and paratroopers-firefighters, the speed of descent (average - three meters per second), correct landing and much more are monitored.
Pilot-observers also practiced the accuracy of draining water onto the fire with the help of a spillway device (APU). It should be noted that work with the spillway device is difficult and dangerous and requires high training of the flight crew.

On June 9, 2022, during the aviation patrol, employees of the Akmola aviation department discovered a fire on the territory of the 14th quarter of the Kuzgan forestry of the Kenes KSU. Paratroopers-firefighters of the Akmola aviation department and employees of the ground forest guard with equipment were sent to the fire site to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the fire was localized and eliminated.

On June 9, 2022, the specialists of the Taldykorgan aviation department, together with the head of the Forest and Protected Area Department of the AOTI B.M. Zhumanov. and the forester of KSU "Ushtobe" Kadyrbaev A. made a flight to monitor saxaul plantations. During the monitoring, saxaul plantations were examined for germination and clutter.

Paratroopers-firefighters of the Bukebay aviation department and employees of the ground forest guard with equipment were sent to the fire site to extinguish fires and prevent their further spread. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the fires were localized and eliminated.

On June 8, 2022, specialists from the Karkaralinsky aviation department, together with representatives of the Karkaralinsky SNNP, carried out an air raid in order to identify facts of illegal logging, poaching and other violations of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the air patrol, an inspection and assessment of the forest pathological state of plantings in a protected area, inspection of places of mass visits to forests by the population, tourist routes and glades was carried out along the way. Based on the results of the forest aviation works, no facts of violation of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan were revealed. In order to prevent and detect violations, this joint work will be carried out regularly on the territory of the Karkaraly SNNP.

On June 7, 2022, within the framework of the program to inform the population, the paratrooper-firefighter of the Karkaraly aviation department Token A.M. preventive talks were held in the Shakhtar rest house on the topic "Compliance with fire safety rules in the forests of the Karkaraly SNNP". The listeners were familiarized with the precautions for dealing with fire in the forest, actions in case of detection of a forest fire, the rules for observing sanitary standards when visiting forests. Leaflets on fire prevention propaganda were also distributed.

DURING THE FIRE DANGEROUS PERIOD, REFUSE TO VISIT THE FOREST!
IF YOU ARE IN THE FOREST, PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING RULES:

During the fire hazard period in the forest it is strictly prohibited:

- make fires, use barbecue grills, other devices for cooking;

- smoking, throwing burning matches, cigarette butts, shaking hot ash out of smoking pipes;

- shoot from weapons, use pyrotechnic products;

- leave cleaning material oiled or impregnated with gasoline, kerosene and other combustible substances in the forest;

- refuel the tanks of running internal combustion engines, bring equipment with a faulty engine power system to work, as well as smoke or use open flames near vehicles refueling;

- leave bottles, glass fragments, and other garbage in a sunlit forest clearing; - burn grass, as well as stubble in the fields.

Persons guilty of violating fire safety rules, depending on the nature of the violations and their consequences, bear disciplinary, administrative or criminal liability.
