Paratroopers-firefighters of the Pavlodar aviation department and employees of the ground forest guard with equipment were sent to the place of ignition to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the fire was localized and eliminated.

On May 15, 2022, a fire was discovered on the territory of the 24th quarter of the Bayanaul forestry of the Bayanaul SNNP. The forces and means of the Bayanaul aviation department and the Bayanaul SNNP were thrown into the fight against the fire element. On May 13, 2022, within the framework of the program to inform the population, the paratrooper-firefighter of the Karkaraly aviation department Token A.M. in the Karkaralinsky Agricultural College named after Mynzhasar Adekenov, a preventive lecture was held on the topic "Compliance with fire safety rules in the forests of the Karkaralinsky SNNP". College students were familiarized with the precautions for handling fire in the forest, actions in case of detection of a forest fire, rules for observing sanitary standards when visiting forest areas. Leaflets on fire prevention propaganda were also distributed.

On May 13, 2022, within the framework of the program to inform the population, the instructor of the APG of the Bukebaev aviation department, Musin S.K. in the Bukebaevsky branch of the RSU GLPR "Semey Ormany" a conversation was held on the topic: "Safety in extinguishing forest fires." The staff of the branch was familiarized with the tactics of extinguishing forest fires and the rules of safety and labor protection of persons involved in extinguishing forest fires.

During the fire season in the forest it is unacceptable:
- throw burning matches, cigarette butts, smoldering rags in the forest;
- make a fire in dense thickets and coniferous young growth, under low-hanging crowns of trees, next to warehouses of wood, peat, in close proximity to mature crops;
- leave spontaneously combustible material in the forest: rags and rags soaked in oil or gasoline, glass containers and dishes that, in sunny weather, can focus the sun's beam and ignite dry vegetation;
- burn dry grass in forest glades, in gardens, in fields, under trees;
- make a fire with flammable liquids or in windy weather;
- leave the fire unattended or unextinguished after leaving the parking lot.
