On May 6, 2022, during the aviation patrol, employees of the Pavlodar aviation department discovered a fire on the cross-border territory with the Russian Federation, threatening the 118th quarter of the Shoshkalinsky forestry and the 12th quarter of the Zavodskoye forestry of the Shaldai branch. Paratroopers-firefighters of the Pavlodar aviation department and employees of the ground forest guard with equipment were sent to the place of ignition to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the fire was localized and eliminated.

On May 6, 2022, within the framework of the program to inform the population, the paratrooper-firefighter Trunov I.E. Ust-Kamenogorsk aviation department, among the medical staff of the "AMBULATORY MEDICAL CENTER" in the village of Ushanovo, a preventive lecture was held on the topic "Compliance with fire safety rules in the forest." The employees were familiarized with the precautions for dealing with fire in the forest, the actions to be taken when a forest fire is detected, the actions of a person lost in the forest, and the observance of sanitary standards when visiting forest areas. Leaflets on fire prevention propaganda were also distributed.

On May 6, 2022, during the aviation patrol, employees of the Kokshetau aviation department discovered a fire on the territory of the 9th quarter of the Preobrazhensky forestry of the Bolshe-Tyuktinskoye KSU "ULKh". coordinated actions of all services, the fire was localized and eliminated.

On May 4, 2022, large-scale interregional exercises ZhAZ-2022 were held. The exercises were carried out with the aim of working out the interaction of management bodies, forces and means to respond to extinguishing forest fires, promptly involving forces and means in extinguishing a fire, improving practical skills in organizing and managing fire extinguishing, managing the involved forces and means.
According to the legend of the exercise, during the aviation patrol of the protected area, the pilot-observer of the State Enterprise "Kazavialesokhrana" discovered a steppe fire in the adjacent territory of Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions.

From the aircraft, paratroopers-firefighters with fire extinguishing equipment were disembarked to the place of fire. Having received introductory, paratroopers-firefighters promptly proceed to extinguish the fire. At the same time, reconnaissance of the state of the fire is carried out from the air, the prospect of its development is assessed, the spread of fire and the progress of extinguishing are monitored, and the alignment of forces and means along the perimeter of the fire is adjusted. In connection with the rapid spread of the fire element (due to strong winds and dry weather), a decision is made to attract additional forces and means.

Some time later, the forces and means of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Service of the Department of Emergency Situations and the brigade of the Center for Disaster Medicine arrive at the fire site.
Units arrived in time to immediately enter into a "battle" with the fire element. An operational firefighting headquarters is created at the site of the fire, which collects, processes and analyzes data on the situation on the fire, takes into account and distributes forces and means among the combat areas, and develops an extinguishing plan.

After a long and stubborn struggle in all areas, the active edge of the fire was stopped, and work is underway to localize and extinguish individual fires.
The gathering of additional formations in the camp is announced. The head of the operational firefighting headquarters announces the elimination of the fire.

Based on the results of the fire-tactical exercises, a meeting of the operational headquarters was held with the involvement of the heads of all functional groups, where an analysis of the course of the exercises was carried out and its results were summed up. According to the organizers of the exercise, these events are held to develop the skills of extinguishing forest fires in conditions as close as possible to real ones, perfecting all the nuances that may arise during the elimination of a real fire, the interaction of all operational services and ensuring the safety of fire extinguishing.

On May 4, 2022, in order to carry out fire prevention, employees of the Bayanaul aviation department installed banners dedicated to the protection of forests from fires on the territory of the Bayanaul forestry and recreation area Zhasybay, Bayanaul SNNP.
